THE ICELANDIC KRÓNA ( ÍSLENSKA KRÓNAN)
SYNOPSIS
The Icelandic Króna is a documentary film, currently being filmed, about the currency of Iceland –the world’s smallest currency. The purpose of this film is to examine how monetary system are structured in modern society and as well to investigate on how monetary policies affects the ordinary citizen, using the Icelandic currency as a proxy.
The filmmakers aim to use the same methodology, as the acclaimed authors of Freakonomics, where the purpose is to make economics fun and understandable.
